Couldn't possibly be the same.
Obama is the Messiah, the ONE.
Besides, Obama is a Democrat and they never do anything wrong.

Bush was not treated poorly in the media when he was heading us into war... Im not sure where that is coming from. The media rolled over and didn't report the story they let him get away with th e lies.

Obama is claiming support for the no fly zone yet Momar's home was just bombed... bet there weren't any threats to air support there.

the two situations are not similar, however both presidents were in the wrong.

the germans have the right idea in regards to these kinds of things. they were against iraq in 2002 and they abstained from joining in this escapade when the rest of the large nato powers have decided to go in.

Next thing you know, Obama is going to cozy up with some big oil folks!!! Oh, wait, already did with Petrobras in Brazil, shut down any new offshore drilling in our gulf, then loaned Brazil $2billion to drill offshore there and announced that he wants America to become a major purchaser of Brazil oil.

So lets look at this. Obama keeps Gitmo open, carries out the plan for Iraq withdrawal that Bush announced years ago, maintains war efforts in Afghanistan, supports corporate greed and control (just different corporations and different controls than Republicans), and now he approves a military strike on Libya because their despot refuses to follow the will of the international community.

I keep telling people the Dems and Reps are 2 sides of the same coin and in spite of blatant evidence, people deny deny deny.

You do need to say more - a lot more. Obama did everything differently than Bush. He waited for the Arab League and UN to sanction an operation and has established us in a supporting role. We're also going in to protect the people from being bomb by their own government, not to protect our own interests due to a perceived threat of WMDs.

It's completely different from Iraq.

All that said - am I the only one who finds it disturbing that the coalition just bombed Gadhafi's compound and then claimed they weren't targeting the man himself, only communications inside? I'm going to shoot you, but it's only because I want your heart. Makes no sense.
