So, the movie profits of michael moore should be evenly distributed among his workers?

Even though I can't stand the guy, he is a hard worker. You have to be in order to get your screenplay made into a movie. He probably logged thousands of miles and thousands of hours and thousands of dollars to get his movies made.

Should a mere camera man, who could be replaced in an hour, earn what he earns?

I really feel bad for people who think like you.

It's almost as if you have absolutely no ambition to do better for yourself.

The left who feel this way seem to believe that we are guaranteed equal outcomes.

"Michael Moore Says Wealthy Americans' Money is Ours"

OK, Moore is one rich SOB.
When can I expect a check from him?

While Moore is an idiot, this is far less serious than if the filmmaking blimp felt all America's food were his own.

So only people who create wealth have any value? You imply that you don't want to foot the bill for others, well, you foot the bill for the wealthy who did nothing moral to achieve their wealth. Why does it make you feel bad to foot the bill for lazy people when the amount you have left was already diminished by the wealthy that stole from you? It's not lazy poor people who are the only bad guys. It's also the wealthy people who tilted the table towards themselves and now laugh at you because you're not paying attention. You're blaming the guy next to you instead of the obvious culprit!

Since the poor and lazy are your enemies, do you know why they are lazy? I already told you part of the reason why they are poor, but why are they lazy? Do they do it just to spite you? I ask because you appear to take their actions personally. No, they do it because they truly believe that they have no power. No one listens to them. The wealthy have made it a dog-eat-dog world and millions of rational people don't want to participate in that. Why bother? Why work your fingers to the bone when someone else can make 10 to the 9th what you make? Why contribute to a system that says one person is worth more than all the others combined? Where's the motivation in that? Are we supposed to work hard for that lottery chance that we'll be lucky enough to join those other people at the top? I think not. The permanently poor (and deliberately uneducated) have been screwed for so long there is no need for them to feel bad that they are mooching off each other. They are utterly convinced they have no chance in hell of climbing out of the boiling water that's killing them. Demonizing them like you do only adds to the problem.

Michael Moore is correct. The rich ripped all of us off and now sit on their wealth with no intention of adopting a moral compass. BUT, the poor are also to blame for letting the imbalance go this far. Our situation was created by all of us. Every participant played his/her part.

Now, let's change this system. Let's use the ideas that Michael Moore and many others have generated to implement change. Obviously, moving forward without changing anything is certain death. I envision a middle class that is about 80-90% of the population. There is no zero, no one is worthless. And there should be an upper bound, for no one is truly worth more than millions of others. We contribute to a collective whether we realize it or not. The dog-eat-dog situation we think is real was just an illusion imposed to distract us from the fact that we were used and abused (keep 'em fighting against each other, divide and conquer). Now, let's invent a system where everyone accepts that we are in the same boat even if we can't see the ocean from our seats. Let's put UNITED back in our country's name.

I have to say I agree with you are more than most of the tools that have nothing. Yet still promote that the wealthy that created the deadly financial instruments and even betted against them so they could make money coming and going are worthy of the billions they made. They were smart thieves. taking the nations wealth in ways we didn't even understand. They used their inside positions to garner an edge and they profitted in gross manors while those that owed on the instruments lost their homes.

Some say they knew what they were doing when they bought homes they couldn't afford, well guess what, many could afford them until the banks made interest rates go from 4% to over 30% in some cases. When a loan is never identified to be able to increase to loan shark rates people don't know what they are getting into. When the banks that made these derivatives have to raise rates so high to cover what they did... then the deck is stacked against the middle class.

Michael Moore is right and yet most of the people in here decide they hate the messenger because he is fat that they miss the message. He made a movie Roger and Me and invested his time and money and he exposed what he thought was outrageous behaviors of GM that directly effected his hometown. He did well with the movie and it gave him money to do it again. He has taken looks into the Iraq War... you know the one started on a lie. Fire arma ... you know the things the NRA doesn't want anyone to challenge, Health care and Wall street.

he has exposed some dastardly behaviors yet many want to attack him as the villain instead of looking at the real thieves and liars. Largely people in this country are ignorant and get what they deserve. They will sit and take paying 75% tax and never get out of line. and like good sheeple they yell at those that say "enough" . they try to get the rebels to comply like the good sheeple they are. I'm glad Michael Moore is doing what he is doing and if he made a few million at it I don't fault him. it came from his own efforts and it wasnt at the expense of the others.

Wealth is not infinite. It is a representation of resources. There are only so many resources in this world.

Wealth creators are actually just manipulators. Manipulating hard workers out of their money, by demanding too much for a product necessary for other people get through day to day living because of "market forces".

A perfect example of that is the oil industry, or the banking industry. They don't do anything to create wealth. They only manipulate it so others have to pay them more. Essentially a fancy form of theft.

This is the typical rant of liberals, as told to them by thier handlers-

Wealthy people only became wealthy because they-

1. inherited their money
2. They stole thier money
3. They cheated or achieved thier money via dishonest means

The corollary of this is-

1. You cannot be rich unless your parents were rich
2. If you are honest, you cannot become rich
3. The only thing that prevents YOU from becoming rich is because you are a virtuous, ethical person.

This "logic" is the comfortable refuge of losers everywhere. They do not have to feel bad about themselves, as they are honest, hard working people and therefore can never become wealthy in this "rigged game". My neighborhood is full of wealthy self made men who were not born rich, worked hard, and never committed crimes on the way to wealth. Unlike you, they did not rationalize failure, but were undeterred and moved along. The fact of the matter is that the MINORITY of "the rich" inherited thier money. The MAJORITY are self made men and women who left whining to the losers, worked hard, and achieved thier goals.

It is simply amazing that libs think this way. But then again, rationalizaton has always been the refuge of the under achiever.
