According to THIS (http://www.fox8.com/news/wjw-elderly-wal-mart-greeter-attacked-women-charged-txt,0,5399670.story - broken link) news report, the women actually tried to press charges against Walmart and the greeter. I'm often amazed at how some people's minds work.
I fully agree with all of you who say we should do away with hate crimes. It's a stupid designation. But the fact remains that we do have "hate crime" on the books and it is not being applied fairly.
I don't understand attacking ANYONE for no reason but particularly not an elderly person.
Lets just hope they go to prison and see if they can take what they dish out.
I predict that they will get probation at the most. This is why we have crime in this country, because it is almost never punished adequately. Criminals know the system and know they will not suffer too much from doing what comes naturally.

You feel for the next generation? I feel for the past three generations! We've already had this nonsense going on for decades now and it shows in our society.
I hope they have increased security at that Walmart. Those two women seem dangerous, and the boyfriend probably is, too.
Seems there was another incident before that. I wonder what that was all about. Maybe that made those two women go nuts.
Or maybe the greeter didn't ask a white customer for their receipt and they considered that racial profiling
