The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has been on strike for over a week now, crippling mail service to Canada and hurting small businesses, the elderly and the poor. Held the whole country hostage over 1.75% vs 2.00% raise difference. What a joke. You bums are lucky you have jobs. They should do mass firing and rehire the entire force from scratch.
We need to end all public unions now! This is going to be happening in the US soon too, imho.

I think this shows clearly that public sector unions do not need to be dismantled. The government merely has to show some backbone when dealing with them. The back to work legislation will impose lower wages than the final offer from Canada Post.
This will send a strong message to the next union negotiating a new contract.

Sounds like you think the taxpayers don't pay twice for such stand-offs

I waited and thought about this before replying, but I'm just too dim to grasp what you are saying. You're going to have to explain it to me.
