Apparently not everyone would. Ms. Higginbottom, (in case like many, you have no idea who she is) was a former campaign advisor for Obama, who has just nominated her to be the Deputy Director, second in command of the congressional budget office, the most central unit in our entire government committed to containing wasteful spending. She will be in charge of our government's 3.7 trillion dollar budget.( Pretty important job, especially at this point in time, wouldn't you say?)
Have you heard of her? Is she qualified for this job? Not everyone thinks so. Jeff Sessions, the top Republican on the Budget Committee has this to say of Ms. Higginbottom's experience (or lack of.)
"Ms. Higginbottom's experience level is stunningly lacking," Sessions said Thursday. "She's never served on the Budget Committee, never studied business. Never run a business. Never been a mayor of a town."

Senator Says Former Obama Adviser Unqualified for Deputy Budget Post - FoxNews.com
Do we not have more qualified people available? This person doesn't really sound qualified for this position. Is she to be used as a puppet? Is this a payback of some sorts? Doesn't the fact that she was Obama's campaign advisor seem a little suspicious? Or is she in reality the best we've go out there?
