They are correcting their mistakes. Diminishing the albatross of public sector unions will go a long way towards that goal. Face it, they created an unsustainable economic condition and it is going to hurt a little bit to repair the damage. A microcosm of what the entire country needs to do on a widespread basis.

"Massive tax increases passed on poor and elderly. Taxes on rich and corporations cut by almost 2 billion. Elections to be suspended, officials summarily dismissed by corporate overseers." From the link. We need more income and we need it now. Print a bunch of money and give it to everyone. They will spend a lot of it and that will stimulate the economy. Then the missing tax revenue will be there.

Yes, print a lot of money so we experience inflation making the added tax revenue worth less. Everything has repurcussions. You cannot just print money to fix the problem. It is ALL relative.

Why people don't understand that is beyond me. Most important takeaway concept: public sector unions have created an unsustainable economic condition.

I would say the private sector executives have created an unsustainable economic condition by failing to pay their share of taxes. Public sector unions are just the scapegoat for a lot of incorrect and unjustifiable private sector decisions. Put the blame where it belongs. On the executives that abandoned Wisconsin.

Their current governor does not, nor is he capable of, understanding this. He has become a wealthy man by renting himself to his hyper wealthy contributors.

The poster said Germany 1934, not Germany 1919.

Any bets on how long it will take for martial law to de declared in some cities in Michigan. How about the entire state of Michigan?
