Come on. No need for that. Better if we're all respectful.

Palin is an arrogant and annoying narcissist of limited intelligence, which is apparent after watching her on TV. She has done nothing of note (being elected is not an accomplishment; eliminating redundant government programs and staff is), and is only popular because Liberals and the liberal media hope she will be the Republican candidate. It will be difficult to find someone so pathetic or annoying that they could lose to one of the most incompetent leaders in world history, but she could do it.

It is sad that Presidential tickets on both sides must have a woman and/or a minority (almost always African-American although Hispanics are a larger group), to be PC. Nothing proves how strongly racist and "women's rights" we still are, than the insistence that these must be represented regardless of their views or accomplishments. A strongly racist African-American who hates hispanics, along with a woman who thinks all women (except her) should be barefoot and pregnant and 3 steps behind the men, would be beloved by the media and public, so long as they were quiet about their personal views. Appearance, rather than substance, rules.

It is a true testament to the power of the media and the Rebublicrat Party that the candidates we get to choose from are of sub-abysmal quality. Few of us even know people who could do a worse job running the nation, considering how little the average working American gets back for the amount of money confiscated. Every politician in office follows the rules of "I'll vote for your pork and you pay for mine." If they are wealthy enough to run for office, they are bought and paid for by a list of wealthy special interests and will serve them with enthusiasm. If they have any fiscal sense at all, they must have some strong negative offsetting factor such as religious fanaticism, or an obsession with warmongering due to masculine inadequacy. Consequently we have a $14 trillion debt and will add $1.65 trillion to it this year, with in all likelihood the same lack of result the previous trillions got us.

I greatly admire Ron Paul and even though his hands would be as tied as the political behemoth could manage, he would do better for the nation than virtually any other (except another Libertarian). It is amazing that many won't vote for him because he is considered too radical, too unorthodox. At a time when we are watching the nation and economy die after decades of horrendous choices by both government and business, and radical effort would be required to even put off the collapse a little longer, voters are afraid of a politician who has view that are not mainstream Republican or Democrat. Unfortunately, both parties do exactly the same thing: make government bigger, more expensive and more abusively powerful; borrow huge amounts of money and give it to the wrong people; wage multiple, pointless foreign wars without ever accomplishing anything; allow entitlements to grow; refuse to defend our borders; and give out some money to a large group of people, while taking much more from an even larger group.

We continue to elect the same type of people, expecting a different result. We are insane. Of course, we get to choose from Clone A or Clone B, so "different" is not an option. The Republican Party could nominate Ron Paul or another Libertarian and give us a REAL choice in two years, but will they? No. The best we could hope was that a Libertarian ran on the Independent ticket, and the media allowed him (or her) to be heard (not likely). Similarly, the media might remind (or inform) everyone that Ross Perot would have won when he ran for President, had everyone who wanted to vote for him (but thought he couldn't win), HAD voted for him.

If all these things happened, it would be possible to elect a President who could put off, or perhaps limit the extent of, the inevitable collapse resulting from massive government overspending and overborrowing. It would be the most hopeful thing to happen in my entire lifetime. And I could win the MegaBucks, too, which is even more likely.

In States where Democrats are allowed to cross over she should get a lot of votes - unless Trump decides to run.
