Even Karl Rove thinks this guy is a joke. The question is, why don't more people wise up to him? Running on the birther platform makes the Grand Old Party look like idiots. And I don't think party leaders like it one bit.
Here is the hot, new theory as to why Donald Trump has been acting like such an ass lately:
Trump has no real roots in the Republican Party. He has been both a registered Republican and a registered Democrat. He has made campaign contributions to Republicans such as John McCain and George W. Bush and to Democrats such as Hillary Clinton and Rahm Emanuel.

I think that he is a bored billionaire playing a huge joke on everyone. Fame feeds his ego and he is having a great time. If he derails the GOP it is even better.
I think he's a joke, and if the GOP actually runs him we can say hello to another Obama term. If the GOP wants to run a business savvy candidate then Mitt Romney is a much more serious candidate.

Ronald Reagan was once a registered Democrat and a UNION member. What's your point? People change based on the current platform of the parties. A political party is just a mechanism to get elected.
I don't get him either. It doesn't matter if he runs as a Democrat, Republican or an Independent. He will never get the majority of Americans to vote him into office. He's a joke. There's no way he doesn't know that.
Maybe its just all about his ego. Maybe he's planning a reality show behind this?
