One of my biggest fears with this is historically(even recently in the Balkans and former Soviet republics), Europe doesnt know how to resolve issues that dont end up with huge wars. I say let China save them next time.
If you allow the culture of a country to be watered down or destroyed, the country ceases to exist. A common language is part of that culture.
I think this is an excellent point. I didn't watch the video but I think it is good for the country. At least they have the pride and the common sense to avoid having to "press 1 for Dutch." Speak the national language or GTF out.
If one is involved with law enforcement or wants to use tax payer funded systems/programs, but is unable to speak english, he/she should be required to show proof of immigration status. No speak national language, no have proof of immigration status, no stay in country. That is it, plain and simple.
