Oh my....how embarrassing.

Unanimous rejection | POLITICO 44

Quote:
The budget proposal released by the White House back in February didn’t win a single vote in the Senate on Wednesday— the final tally was 0-97.

POLITICO’s David Rogers reports: “The vote on the president’s plan turned into a rout, with neither Republicans nor Democrats voting in favor of taking it up.
It is really no wonder they rejected his budget - a $3.7 trillion disaster that is not at all serious about debt and deficits.

The reason it was rejected is the Senate could not understand the ramblings of a community organizer.

Did you read your article. The request was from February and "Obama himself has also substantially altered his February requests as part of a “new framework”"

yea, it was an older budget plan that the dems didn't want to bring up but since they forced the vote on the Ryan plan the Reps forced the vote on the WH plan.

All of it is just grandstanding and political BS.. this is what our government does best.. NOTHING!

So things have changed so much since February, that the budgets he proposed then, are out of date just 3 months later? Really? How do we expect them to budget out 12 months, or even decades if they cant even write a budget good for 3 months?

Well, things really haven't changed that much. And I forgot is this his first or second budget...I believe the second.

But not even one democrat could bring themselves to vote for this monstrosity - which also has a stealth tax hike in there too.

All I hear is crickets. Not a single lefty to be seen.

Oh, they can run Ryan's budget through the muck all day but they aren't touching this thread.
