Adding in ObamaCare cuts for Medicare Part B (physicians fees and other services) brings the total cut to $1.05 trillion over the first 10 years and $4.95 trillion over the first 20 years."

The Doc Fix took care of the cuts in physicians fees/service, it was only in the original bill to make things look better from a deficit perspective...

I don't equate wanting entitlements for yourself and not others as sanity. I have said it all along. we all must be willing to give up our collective benefits if we want others to give up theirs.

This just shows me even more that the left/right battle is a sham and we are all being played.

This government is far too bloated in every single aspect, and that's what we as fiscal conservatives would like to correct.

The top issue is all spending for all groups poled except Democrats. 43% of Democrats list deficit spending as their top concern with only 11% willing to shut down the government to prevent increased deficit spending. In contrast, 57% of all voters list reducing the deficit over cutting taxes or maintaining current services.

Having robbed Medicare of future trillions under Obamacare, Democrats have crassly moved on to buy more votes with their ill-gotten gain. I give them credit for knowing their base doesn't care where the free benefits come from as long as someone else is paying. The state run media won't mention the glaring dishonesty of Democrats accusing Republicans of throwing granny out of the hospital after Democrats have looted the Medicare program to fund their next Ponzi scheme.

Heaven forbid Republicans propose an alternative to forced participation in programs which are in every case pillaged by Congress. Those who paid into Medicare against their will may very well end up being defrauded to one degree or another, but perhaps younger workers can opt out and keep their money safe from the Congressional thieves who have given themselves final say on whether or not decades-long promises are actually kept.
