I always knew he was a fake conservative but his criticism of the President's reluctance to go off nation building in Libya, has removed all doubt! marco rubio is politics as usual. he is to the republican party what the president is to democrats. he speaks an incredible game but he lacks the principle to carry through.

Florida morning: Marco Rubio criticizes Barack Obama's Gaddafi response | jacksonville.com

on a different note, i'm quite encouraged by the presidents actions. that is to say that i'm quite encouraged that the president seems to want to keep his nose out of libya's business. i don't really believe this to be the case it just seems that way. if it is the case, then i'll take back some of my criticism for this president

He was criticizing the President for what he perceived as delayed show of support for the Libyan protestors, not for his reluctance to re-build Libya.

Conservatives are big government socialists. They want to not only control the personal lives of Americans, they want the federal government to intervene and control the lives of people half way around the world.

Ironic.

the US only improves the minute we stop interfering with other countries and focus on the loss of liberty at home. we have warrantless searches, a president who can assasinate, swat team raids on organic food stores and naturopaths, cops killing innocent people in raids. we have a govt who wants to set up mandatory health insurance.

just about everything is becoming illegal here and we want to preach to other countries?????? i'm sorry, but the libyans seem as though they can take care of themselves

So you don't want public roads, police officers, firefighters, teachers, clean air, clean water, and clean soil?

I was only pointing out that you exaggerated Rubbio's comments in the link you provided. He did not mention anything about nation building in Libya. He only objected to the administration's perceived reluctance to support the protestors. I think he is wrong, but you have to be fair to him and not put words in his mouth.
