From this program:

Bloomberg TV: U.S. Program Schedule - Bloomberg

Singapore Sessions

Quote:
Asia is shifting from global production base to a source of innovation for the world. Is Asia investing enough in R&D, technology and education to enable the next generation to compete on the global stage and take the region to the next level? Singapore Sessions and Bloomberg Television present a compelling, two part TV event on the vital issues facing Asia's growth. This program is moderated by Charlie Rose. The first session focuses on Asia's shift from a global production base to a source of innovation from the world. How can its education system produce the talent needed to power the next generation of companies that will drive Asia's growth to the next level? Tune in and gain new perspectives on how to leverage Asia's growth for your business.

The summary basically comes down to:

1. The solution is for the US to embrace the coming competitive global system and improve its education and in order to compete.

2. The US worker is screwed and there are no solutions other than for US workers to accept lower standards of living and work harder for less, since there are millions that will do it for less.

3. Multi nationals are going to shift towards the east and start drawing upon the huge labor and talent pools there.

It was quite clear from the elites on this program, that throwing American's under the bus in the pursuit, for more for themselves, is perfectly acceptable. Is this what kind of nation we want? And for those that do not wish to see this, what steps should we take to prevent it?

You can rest assured, the Oligarch running the show will be the ones to benefit off it the most, while everyone else will have to settle for less and less.

They also do not want any regulation of foreign derivatives so that they are free to rape the rest of the world:

Treasury Blocks Regulation Of Market That Sparked $5.4 Trillion Fed Bailout

Treasury Blocks Regulation Of Market That Sparked $5.4 Trillion Fed

Quote:
The Treasury Department plans to exempt foreign exchange derivatives from new Wall Street reform regulations, a Treasury official said Friday, dismissing concerns that the market prompted $5.4 trillion of emergency support from the Federal Reserve in late 2008.

Assistant Secretary for Financial Markets Mary Miller told reporters on Friday that the foreign exchange market already functions effectively and would not benefit from new rules. Subjecting the market to new rules, she claimed, would introduce a new and unnecessary “process” into “a very well-functioning market.”

So now that the theives are almost done raping American's, they will put more of their attention toward the rest of the world.
