Bin Laden was angered that we have a presence in Saudi Arabia. We are there at the request of the Saudi government. This is/was a result of his ideology; we did nothing to deserve being attacked.

But we also didn't ask their permission to go in either, I am sure that Obama did give them a call, before coming out to read the teleprompter, and appoligize for doing it without permission.
