What they could do is show portions of the video shot on scene. Black out the Seals faces of course.

I don't do religion. They were taking steps to respect religious tradition for the freedom of religion, nor because we hold ourselves to a higher standard ( which is pretty funny) they did it to either fool us, or appease the enemy and hopefully cushion the blow. It is not going to work, they think they know us better than that. We enter a foreign country, shoot their leader in the head, along with his son and others, take his body and then all of a sudden start respecting their religious rights? No dont think so. My son is in the Army, brother, Marines , Dad and Uncle both navy. My brother has been there in the fighting, knows what they do what they say and how they feel about us. They think something is fishy ( no pun intended), as do I.
It's actually pretty common throughout history to, after a battle, give dead fighters from the opposing side a respectable burial. It's really astounding what you're arguing. I'm not even sure, really. You want his body on display in the Rotunda so everybody can file past and see for themselves?

They handled it wisely. Get rid of the body quickly and respectfully and move along. Nothing wrong with that at all. Perhaps that's why the founding fathers made sure the leader of the military would be a civilian.

Can you imagine the smell?

I would have buried him on a pig farm somewhere.

I call it how it is. Very fishy. Too fishy for my liking. What was the need to go and dump Osamas body in the sea less than 24 hours after we finally caught him?

Something is fishy. I tried looking but couldn't find an explanation. Perhaps something I missed?

Discuss. What the hell?
So nothing could be proven.

My point proven. There are those who will doubt every piece of evidence, no matter what, because they are neither scientists nor judges, and presume an answer before the evidence has been presented. There's no reason to appease them.

Show the pictures. Show whatever. Just don't expect to win over the doubters.

Exactly. You and a few others have already decided that they will be fakes, so what's the point of even releasing them?

Not everyone falls for the government line, and by the same token, not everyone automatically sees a conspiracy in every shadow.

I heard something on the Savage show tonight. Michael brought up a good point. I think most of us can agree, and most Muslims can agree, that Osama used the Muslim religion and perverted it. So why should we dignify him as a "Muslim" and bury him as one? We treated him as if he was really just a Muslim.

We shouldve treated him like the terrorist killer he was who perverted and twisted a religion, and did something else with his body.

He promised to help the "little guy" and "tax the rich" instead of the working class. He made sure the rich their extra tax breaks, but no break for us.

He promised he was for the people, and against Big Business. Then he gave over a trillion in taxpayer dollars to bail out ultra-corrupt Big Banking, Big Insurance, and GE (among other super-rich entities). Again, not a penny for us working taxpayers.

He promised to fix (or at least improve) the health care expense problem. Instead he passed legislation which will cost over a trillion in new taxes in the decade (more in future decades since taxes kicked in before "benefits"), didn't include any cost-cutting, has already increased the cost of health care insurance drastically with much more increase to come, will make doctors much scarcer and cause huge waits with resulting health costs, and which preserved and increased the profits of Big Insurance and other health-care money-sucking middlemen. In effect, he negotiated away ANYTHING that would help the people afford health care or get it in a timely manner. Why? Because he wants BIG BUSINESS to help him get elected, and he knows they are much smarter than the sheeple who don't even notice they've been fleeced yet again.

The naivete of the sheeple never ceases to amaze me.

I actually agree with the Liberal Voice and I'm not a lapdog democrat and automatic GOP hater....would have been wiser, if no other country was willing to take him, to put him on one of our deserted islands (Maine has a bunch that are unhabited and can only be accessed by private boat) or someplace like some Alaska remote village...where getting to his "shrine" would have been a chore. The first thing I thought about when they announced the sea burial, was speculation glarore, as to if this whole thing is fake, will just increase it.....

Maybe he's alive and well and riding horses on the Bush ranch in Texas. I heard on TV today that the Bin Laden and Bush families were tight for a lot of years............No. Just kidding. I believe we killed him...but it is amazing the "theories" out there already!
