You can't put toothpaste back in the tube; America is becoming more progressive every year, and good people are speaking out against bad things.

Their minister has run for office as a progressive democrat many times.
Current estimates point out that 30% to 40% of LGBT youth have attempted to commit suicide. This rate is FOUR times the suicide rate of heterosexual teens.
In the 1980s teenagers were killing themsleves because they listened to Judas Priest and Metallica records. There were Congressional hearings and everything.
Magically, the "problem" dissapeared.
Suicide rates for alcoholics are 10 times the rate for the normal population. And there are many more alkies than there are homosexuals.
Of course, I will be called names for this. Just sayin' gay teens attempting suicide is no more unusual than other groups of people committing suicide. It's hardly a federal case.
Why would anyone say that unless they are are hopeless homophobe, willfully ignorant or depressed. What is a rewarding life? One that has meaning. And comments like the quote just add to injustice and terrorizing children.
With that attitude you are correct.......luckily most people strive to better our nation.
