It wasn't taken from Syria. Syria lost it. That's the way it goes in love and war.

Bush threw that letter out the window in 2008 when the demanded the end of Israeli "occupation" of the 1967 territories.

What’s up with the Mexican economy? « Mexico Business Blog (http://bdp-americas.com/blog/2011/04/whats-up-with-the-mexican-economy/ - broken link)

As the U.S. economy doggedly continues to send mixed signals, events in the Middle East have the world biting its fingernails and Mexico’s internal problems capture headlines, the Mexican economy inexplicably appears to be doing better than it should. While weak points are numerous, positive signs still accrue: Official unemployment was set at 4.6% in March, the lowest level since December 2008.

You didn't answer my question...

What difference would it make if the last .25% of the middle east land mass became muslim?

What would be different?

Would they not sell oil to us anymore?

What?

If the holy sites fall into Muslim control, they will be off limits to non Muslims. That will cause a holy war and possibly even WWIII. There are hundreds of millions of religious non Muslims that would not take too kindly to that happening. At least if Jerusalem is in the hands of the Israelis, those sites will be shared with all. That's what this is all about, the control of Jerusalem and Islam will stop at nothing to get their hands on it.

What business does Obama have telling Israel, a sovereign nation, where its borders should be?

Would those who support Obama's actions support the US being told to return to its 1776 borders?

NONE! He should wish them well, cut off the $$$ flow, and end US involvement in the region.

When you granted them the land in the first place, I'd say you've got one hell of a say.

If you want to take the line of "What business is it", then we should remove all foreign aid from every country in the middle east, including monetary and militarily, right? I'm sure Israel would love for us to leave them without an army.

Yeah, it's time we give Manhattan back to the Indians and the Louisiana Purchase back to the French.
