That's the style of the font. If kerning were truly present the entire word of Rutland would have kerning in every letter. The bottom of the R would occupy some of the space that the upper part of the U is in, the bottom of the U would occupy some of the space that the left cross in the T is in, etc. That's how kerning works, it's not just a letter here and there, it is just about all of them. ASnyway, like I said, this could all be argued until the cows come home. The one thing that can't be argued is that the doc was definitely altered, someone put that green security background on it. There are 2 new BC's. One with the green background and the exact same document with a white background. I'm going with the green one as the doctored one since I don't think that type of security paper was in existence back then. Not 100% sure about that, but one of them has been altered.

Very well could be. But it does NOT explain the differences between his and the twins BC's. No kerning whatsoever in the twins BC's and it was the day after. That's what is being reported. There are also different names on who the Registrar was in only a day apart. Also the BC number for Obama's is HIGHER than the twins born the day after. Too many things just don't add up, then add in the fact that Obama tried so hard to conceal this info. There is a reason for all of this. We just don't know what it is.

No... both copies sent from Hawaii were printed on the security paper.
The secondary photocopies passed out at the press conference though were not. They were copied onto plain white bond... and the security paper (doing its intended job) did not replicate.
That's why we invented security paper in the first place.
yes! the typeface is designed so that there is kerning on certain letters given the restrictions of a typewriter. as we can see in this case it exists in relation to the "4" and "9" and the lower case "y" to multiple letters. kerning can exist on a typewriter. the original argument was that it was "impossible" for this to occur. obviously we can see for ourselves that it is not.
