umm... it was a handful of whites against a Mexican horde
Texas at that time was part of Mexico, ruled by Spain.
The battle in 1836 lasted 13 days when fewer than 200 Texan volunteers were eventually overwhelmed by up to 6,000 Mexican troops.
200 against 6,000 was a Mexican horde.
The people who fought against Mexico for Independence were Tejanos, not Hispanics and their ancestors are still Tejanos today. We honor them then, and now with all the towns and Counties (254 in Texas) with their names. I’ve never been sure why a British singer/songwriter thinks he can (or should) rewrite Texas History.
Absolutely none of it has anything to do with a mythological Race War between whites and Tejanos.
It was about Texas Independence from Mexico.
Phil Collins had Crocketts rifle? Well ain't that something. I figured it ended up like Bowies knife, which is probably still in use honed down to damn near a stiletto slicing carne asada at a taco stand in some rural Mexican village.
Tell the wokesters to stuff it, sit down, and shut up.
The more their petulant whining is ignored, the less leverage they'll have.
Never cave to wokesters, never apologize.
You cave, they win. It's clear when the left talk about the right coming together with them for a concensus they really mean the right submitting to their will. In nature the strong survive. Time to fight back.

Ha ha!
