so what do I tell all the people that I know who told me this based on personal experiences. (who have much more credibility then some internet poster.)
learn about how the gay movement forced the APA to come to many of their conclusions.
in short wise up

You know people who's sexual orientation magically changed from homosexual to heterosexual? I don't believe that for a second.
Of course they won't tell you what they really think but that's what every human being on earth believes about homosexuality!
Since I am a human being who lives on planet Earth and I don't believe that way about homosexuality, I guess I just proved your ridiculous assertion wrong!
and if I gave them to you would still not believe it and just target them.
It'd be very interesting to measure the sexual arousal of these men who you claim have rid themselves of same-sex attraction- who have somehow changed their sexual orientation from homosexual to heterosexual - towards other men/homosexual activity. It would be even better to find these people before their conversion and measure this type of sexual arousal before and after they somehow change the sex of people they claim they're attracted to. Oh wait - a few studies like this have been done (the former), and the arousal is still there.
I've seen a lot of interviews with so called "ex-gays." Every singe one of them at some point says something along the line of "I still struggle with the issue, or the sin' of same-sex attraction, but with the help of Jesus Christ and my church I've been able to leave that lifestyle." It's not that their (innate) sexual attraction has changed, it's just that they're repressing acting on it and living a different "lifestyle" - they're living a lie.

you do realize that many times the people who are interviewed are screened to get the desired results.
go read this book and tell me it's impossible to change

hate to brake the news to you but there are many men who were only attracted to men who now are only attracted to woman.
This doesn't address my post you quoted.
