Yeah because there would be sooooooo many jobs available for them.

It will be a great day for this country when abortion is no longer a political issue. It has (should have) nothing to with government.

Wedge issues are detrimental to our growth as a great nation.

He does have a point. Who is going to support your retirement? Obviously the workforce is dwindling.
Over 60% of the people do not want their tax dollars supporting abortion. If you want to have this medical procedure, do it on your own dime. You made your bed, lie in it. Accepting responsibility for our own actions is what grownups do.

Ummm.....newsflash.....women DO pay for their own abortions.

However, remember, if you force a poor woman to have a child she cannot support.......that child will be raised on YOUR DIME.....no doubt about that.

Actually the labor force growth rate peaked in 1980 and it has been on a steady decline since then. http://www.bls.gov/opub/working/page1b.htm

A massive drop in births after the late 50's peak is a huge issue for entitlements but Santorum is way off his his theory.

Births and the birth rate peaked in the late 50's at 25% but by 1973 (RvW year) the rate was down to 14.9. By 1977 it was back in the 15s again, so his theory is a little off.
