Probably because she never claimed it was a rape. And she didn't claim it was the only time they did it. At least not from what I read. She "spun" a situation to absolve her of most of responsibility while vilifying someone else. That's also the American way, unfortunately.

this was teenage sex plain and simple. most girls that age have regret they gave in, most boys are too pushy about it. in this case the "couple" went away to camp, drank enough to loosen up and had sex. she was on birth control, she thought she loved him. I doubt very seriously she got pregnant the first and "only" time.
why the heck would her parents allow her to go camping with him or if the reports are true, stay over at their house?
