This came up in another thread - but Perry is reviving the TSA Sexual Assualt bill in a special session - and I think the bill would require only a majority of votes.

Political posturing or the real deal - we will see.

Texas Gov. Perry Adds Popular Anti-TSA Groping Bill to Special Session (http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/7938-texas-gov-perry-adds-popular-anti-tsa-groping-bill-to-special-session - broken link)

The Lt. Gov. (Dewhurst) was probably responsible (IMHO) for the original bill's demise.

Close the airports in Texas, can't have the TSA being arrested for doing their jobs.

People can still fly to Texas, most never leave. No problem.

For some reason I think Obama is nutty enough to follow through and attempt to close airports. Hopefully Perry is ready for that.

Wow this isn't California. What true southern woman needs an anti-groping Bill? You touch a woman wrong here in Texas and she'll respond by punching your lights out or kicking you in the groin and that'll be the end of that.

Doing their job all over the constitution might land them in more trouble than being arrested.

As per the Constitution, if a plane is manufactured in Texas and remains in its airspace, the fedgov can pound sand.
