Do you enjoy this news because you think you can link a causal relationship between a Republican dominated house and the current employment environment in this nation, and somehow give your political beliefs some legitimacy in your own mind?
bob, I failed to see Boehner"s name in the article and I surely do wonder how many of his plans have been installed since the Senate would surely not agree with anything he said.

Very true, it's usually idiot partisans on the right making these massive jumps in logic. There's little that ANYONE in government can do right now to change the jobs situation. The economy was overstimulated during the 2000's and policies were put in place that caused the economy to collapse. You can put whoever you want in office and it won't make a difference.
The effort to balance the budget will only make things worse. Spending cuts and tax increases both have negative impacts on GDP. Both are likely to be coming along.
The currently politicians are much at fault in this unless they were part of the flawed policies in the 2000's. Of course, as you can see here and in the other, mostly Obama hating posts, nobody wants to own up to reality. People are almost never good at realizing their own BS.

The only reason why they have negative impacts on GDP is because GDP uses government spending in its calculation. But GDP isn't a good indicator of economic health because of how easily manipulated it is.

There is some truth to what you say. Government can do little to create jobs, but it can do a whole lot to prevent job creation through tax policy and regulations.
That's why stimulus was so calamitous, it skyrocketed the debt while providing little job growth.
