Not because I say so in a cheerleader post with no substance.
Because the results from their horrible policies have ruined our country economically. Anyone without a blinded agenda can see that.

They were cheering that President along, that's where they were.
Why would Hannity, Limbaugh or anyone on Fox report on all that?

Why ***** about something, when you got your guy in the office....???

Cause that one little (R) or (D) before every Politicians Name means a lot.

The tea Party Movemnet basically is a movement that came out fo defcit spending and the only solution of constantly raising taxes. Weath is always created by private sector investment not pubic sector spending which creats no growth. The democratic policy of investing in no growth wealth redistibution is a dying movement as it means no growth to pay for spending and deficits.Wealth building growth is more and mroe recognised in very inductrial country including even communist china and now even frances as they see what the socialist Greece example results in.No one invest in sector that only conumes and produces no wealth.Wealth must be created and when you consume more and more you start to borrow without any growth to service the borrowing.Eventually the cow gives no milk.

the wars were i fact paid for, and congress authorized the use of force in both wars. obama ob the other hand has NOT gotten authorization for the war in libya.

the patriot act was voted on and passed in a bipartisan manner, and did NOT intrude on personal liberties. you have been sold a bill of goods by people with an agenda. have you read the patriot act? i have. it does NOTHING to obfuscate the constitution in any way.

hmmm, so you want to end a government program that is actually coming UNDER budget, and is actually working like it should? read this;

Sally Pipes: Medicare Part D isn?t broke so don?t fix it - Orange County Register

oh boy another person who wont check the real facts. ok here they are again;

1: ever hear of the posse comitatus act? it prevents the federal government from intruding into state affairs unless invited to do so, that includes fema.

2: ray nagin, the mayor of new orleans, refused to follow the emergency plan to evacuate the city, and refused to call for a mandatory evactuation until 48 hours before the storm hit. there were 250 school buses that could have been used to evacuate the people, but they were never mobilized.

3: bush begged governor blanco to declare a state of emergency before the storm hit so that fema could get in a preposition a vast quantity of supplies, including food and water, so that when the storm passed, the supplies could quickly be distributed.

4: with in hours of the storm passing, the coast guard was already pulling people out of the area, even though they were being shot at by residents.

5: with in hours after the storm hit bush was still trying to get blanco to declare a state of emergency and ask for federal help, and she continued to refuse.

6: the levees that broke, while under the control of the army corps of engineers, were supposed to have been improved over the years, and all the levee boards had continually gone to congress to get money for improving the levees but they spent the money on other things rather than improve the levees.

7: when blanco finally authorized the federal government to go in and help, local authorities blocked the effort.

8: bush was excoriated for flying over the scene three days after the storm went through and not landing, but the reality was that bush didnt want to hamper the efforts of fema and other agencies who were trying to get supplies to the people living in the stadium. having air force one land at the airport at that time would have caused a huge disruption of those efforts.

9: where were you when the oil spill in the gulf was going on out of control and obama did NOTHING for 11 days?

dont forget that congress spends the money, not the president, and deficits were going down until 2007 when the democrats took over, and eh deficits started climbing again. and there were many of us complaining about federal spending even in the mid part of the first decade, but no one listened. but since you are son concerned about the deficit, why are YOU not complaining about the deficits and the debt the democrats have run up over the last five years?

the only one destroying our international credibility is obama.

your question is a stupid one since the tea party wasnt formed until 2008, and at that time it was a small grassroots movement that wasnt being taken seriously by anyone until after the election.
+1. Pure pwnage

Kind of hard for the media to have time for something THAT DIDN'T EXIST!

Also, it's kind of ironic that an anchor baby is practically one of their founding fathers (or mothers in this case).

The Hilton Head Tea Party chapter had their annual Fourth of July event, to promote their cause of less government intervention and spending. They invited the media and the public and some 100 people turned out...

at the Hilton Head High School Visual and Performing Arts Center, which was government built, and is government run and operated. When they built the thing with school tax dollars years ago no one complained about using public tax money to fund a building. Now the Tea Party wants to cut spending to the local school district because it "wastes too much money."

In my food store parking lot a car had two bumper stickers on it. One was a support the tea party sticker, the other was a buy american sticker. The car of course was a Hynudai.

Well, most of the Tea Party members that I've known that long were doing the same thing from 2001 - 2009 as we are today, fighting against an out of control federal government perpetrated by both political parties. We were pointing out how ignorant GWB was just like we're doing with Obama now. We were screaming about getting out of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan just like we're doing right now with Obama and Libya. We were upset about the out of control spending just like we are now.

That leads me to ask, where are you now?
