It seems that most Republicans and some Democrats are getting tired of some of the garbage involving Libya and Obama's violation of the War Powers Act in how he has prosecuted that war.

Listen carefully to statistics that Rep. Burton speaks concerning the money we have spent, the men we have involved, the number of planes and sorties flown by our people and by other NATO nations. Listen carefully, also, to the number of people that Burton says Obama talked to about this thing with not one word to the Congress. It may be tough for him to wiggle out of this one.

How much of Burton's speech did you listen to? I vote none. How about you?

Yeah, you do something wrong and then when people mention it you call it beating a dead horse? That's about as stupid as it gets.

The the OP. He'll find a way...

He won't get in any trouble but he has to somehow win this one because we are getting too close to serious campaigning time and many people will begin to see some of these things happening.

Actually, I think he will try to get into some of the other nations of the Middle
East in the same way and even Democrat Congress people will be tired of it and go after him.

The worst part of all this is the way he is trying to do all his governing with EOs and avoiding Congress completely. Some of them don't want to become totally irrelevant and they are hurrying to that position.

This war was sold to us as humanitarian yet the amount of human suffering going on in North Korea is much worse than Libya. We are being lied to. If hell really existed it would be North Korea.

If we were actually "humanitarians" looking to spread peace and democracy we'd have to invade about half of the world.

How is it humanitarian when we kill women and children?

And they just passed the Defense Spending bill and guess what..that Libya amendment was NOT in there.

Out of $649 BILLION, only $119 billion is going to Iraq/Afghanistan.
And with Libya, that bill only prohibits the US from sending weapons and training rebels. Seems we can do all else in Libya. Congress did NOT prevent funding for Libya.
