CNN and the rest of the 0bama media have been trying to hide the truth, we have not changed since November, we want less government spending, and we want a balanced budget, not "trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see". Why isn't this the narrative from the media that Americans want a balanced budget? Even their polls are telling them the truth.

The republicans have passed a budget bill to the senate that has this balanced budget amendment, and yet, a half-baked outline of an idea, by the gang of six in the senate is getting all the media attention.

Only the republican bil that was sent to the senate can be passed before the August deadline, and 0bama has stubbornly stated he will not sign a temporary increase to the debt ceiling.

Asked whether or not he would veto legislation temporarily increasing the debt ceiling, the president said: "I will not sign a 30-day, or 60-day, or 90-day extension. It's irresponsible. They know better," Obama said.

We want a balanced budget amendment, because congress has proven incapable of controlling their spending urges.

CNN just released a poll of 1,000 Americans showing overwhelming support for the House Republican approach to the debt limit crisis. Specifically, 66 percent of Americans favor a deal where both houses of Congresses pass a balance budget amendment, and substantial cuts and caps on future spending, in exchange for a debt limit hike.[

Question 25A:

As any ignorant person would, until he/she learns how it affects them. And then there is the other side, what does it entail? Being a one-trick pony... cut, cut, cut, or manage from all aspects that make up for a balance?

Makes for good rhetoric, serves no practical purpose unless done correctly, which is not the case with this abortion, hey, I thought Repubs were anti-abortion, what gives?

Why just 2 days ago Obama said 70% were for his Gang of 6 plan.
Obama wants $2+ trillion added to the ceiling so he can get through his re-election without this even in the spotlight.

I doubt we'll see any balancing here because that involves cuts and that won't happen with 2012 right around the corner.

And just two days ago, you were complaining and whining about polls.

We are heading into default as a nation, if 0bama's spending spree continues. It will account for almost half of our nation's entire debt by the time he ends his first term. Can't you understand this?

One trick pony??? Balancing the budget, is now a bad thing? What is the alternative? That we end up like Greece??

It was 0bama who falsely claimed the American people agreed with him, he is the one using polls to try and justify his policy decisions. All the happy Texan was doing was pointing this out.

It's clueless 0bama who lives and dies by the polls, and btw, his presidency will die at the polling stations when we vote him out of office.

Actually I posted that some live and die by polls and search and hunt for the poll that puts their party in the best light. If a bad poll comes out they just wait a day for a good poll and post that.

So I wasn't whining about any polls. I find it funny that people cling to polls even though they swing extreme from one day to the next.

A lot of us are registered Republicans simply b/c the Libertarian party is not strong enuff to elect candidates in our region. Just b/c you are registered as a Republican, it doesn't mean you are ultra conservative.
