Obama did get a lot of votes in 2008 because people wanted to "make history". There's no novelty about him in 2012, only that he is inept.

Default lord of the flies

Obama will lord over the carnage he created and appear as a savior to the homeless and jobless masses. He'll be the only well fed and employed guy in the room.

Obama will still be running against GWB in 2012. However, his color has faded some since 2008 and even GWB will not be able save him.

There is no point in arguing with the ignorant and delusional. The UN is not going to come to town and take my guns. It is far likelier that Wall Street will steal my pension. Wall Street along with the war mongers in the petroleum industry are not Democrats. You think you are "free" but are just as much a wage slave as most of the rest of us. You buy “freedom” in this country with wealth just like anywhere else.

FWIW - I happen to live in the North East corner of Appalachia and prefer my corn likker be aged about 8 years in charred oak before drinking. Maker’s mark is a good example.

No but the antics of the Tea Party and the inability of the Republicans in the House of Representatives to effectively govern will.

Also Republican initiatives to restrict collective bargaining rights, and restrict a woman's right to choose, and make government workers the scapegoats of poor budgetary management while giving tax breaks to corporations at the state level is going to backfire on Republicans at the stae level and will also impact national elections.

LOL. You could be right, if you consider "not proposing budgets and bills" as effectively governing. The Dems have control of the Presidency and the Senate and have provided NOTHING. If the Reps aren't governing effectively, I'd like to hear your description of the Dems' governing abilities.

Well I like Shine and Maker's when I can afford it....not to beat a dead horse has the NRA been calling you everyday like they are doing to me about Hillary's secret meeting in N.Y. with the U.N. recently? What about all the lying going on about FAST AND FURIOUS trying to put a bad light on true law-abiding citizens like you? Just curious ? OH I almost forgot your comment about the U.N. and their anti-gun agenda for the world holds no water go ask the people of Australia,Canada,New Zealand and the U.K. who's governments sold them down the road on owning firearms to that un-elected body of minions...once that is signed they think its etched in stone with no turning back...JMO

His best platform will be "I am not a member of the lunatic fringe AKA the Tea Party." That should be enough to get him elected against the current bunch of Republicans.
