Its not downsizing the bank system, its consolidating into larger and larger banks.

Remember the term "Too big to fail"

Damned shame isn't it. I can understand why we had to bail them out, somewhat. But we should have broken them up as monopolies the day after the TARP was passed.

And before anyone says "Obama", that was all Bush.

Who cares who it was under. They're all thieves. Passed by the congress and signed off by W. They should all be jailed for what they're doing in DC.

From what I have seen the govt owns controlling shares in these corps. So they benefit from things like breaking Glass-Steagall protections and Commodity Modernation Act.

The too big to fail has nothing to do w/ flavors of ice cream, but about power and profits. Big Govt and Big Bus work hand in hand.
