Hello?? Legislation did not cause the problem.

Spending money we don't have is the problem. We are still doing it and you want to blame legislation that won't even fix the problem.

Our credit rating is our strongest financial asset??

** We have no money!! Wake the heck up. **

Funny, you're not blaming the Dems, who have NOTHING on the table. Easier to criticize than produce something yourself, I'm seeing.

That "fringe" (nice rhetoric, by the way. Proving, as always, that only the right must stop the hate) is what will save this country from out-of-control spending.
Reid's bill is "nothing on the table"? It's very similar to Boehner's plan with only minor differences. They haven't pushed it yet, because Republicans in the Senate are threatening a filibuster.

And how is downgrading our credit rating, damaging the dollar value, reducing our status as best financial asset in the world, and increasing interest rates on the debt we already have going to help this country?

I don't know what part of you can't pass an amendment to the constitution in one week do you not understand. IT was a ceremonial bill and nothing else. You guys just don't listen even when your own party is trying to explain to you the realities of the situation.

I think you forgot to add the last part: "and leaderless Senate". Old Harry has done NOTHING to bring forth a meaningful proposal. All he's done is no, no, no.

Wait til late Friday, vote, send the bill to the Senate, adjourn the House for the weekend. If the bill isn't sent to the President it will be entirely the fault of the Senate.
That is the Dems idea of a compromise. Say no to everything Republicans propose.

This just isn't going to fly. As it stands, Democrats today are willing to accept a bill that does not raise taxes one cent. That's the equivalent of the Republicans being willing to accept a plan that is based soley on tax increases.

This is a Bag crisis. The Republicans have encouraged the Bags, thinking they could control and tame them, much like the conservative establishment of the Weimar Republic thought they could tame the Nazis and use them toward their own ends.

Nope. Bags want to burn the house down. This is going to blow up in the Bags' face, ring. If you think the Democrats are going to take ANY blame for this Bag crisis you're looney.

Hell, I'm not even blaming old line Republicans anymore after yesterday. You can clearly see they want off this crazy train. They need to jump on board the big boy train the Democrats are riding at the moment if we are going to stop the Bags.

The adults in the Government have acted and spoken. Vote on Cut Cap and Balance. Then Obummers can do what ever he likes.

Wow, so now you're calling people that support fiscal responsibility terrorists? You Libs are not just frightened. You're terrified. As well you should be. The country if finally seeing what a horrible job progressive policies have done to this country.

Nice, comparing them to Al-Qaeda and the Norwegian Shooter. I love the "new" Left. No hateful rhetoric there....
