Nope. Bags want to burn the house down. This is going to blow up in the Bags' face, ring. If you think the Democrats are going to take ANY blame for this Bag crisis you're looney.

Hell, I'm not even blaming old line Republicans anymore after yesterday. You can clearly see they want off this crazy train. They need to jump on board the big boy train the Democrats are riding at the moment if we are going to stop the Bags.

14th Amendment adjustment with regards to the President and the debt ceiling is basically taxation without representation to me.

Indeed, but the Tea folks are not wanting to cut tax breaks that are not needed and spending that is not wanted. Why does Exxon need tax breaks when their second quarter profits rose 41%? Why does the tourist industry in Va. Beach need the Federal govt. to pay for beach restoration every year? (This happens on all our ocean coasts actually.) Why does the Federal govt. pay for the CPV to provide water for corporate farms when its origional intent was for small farmers? Or the Federal govt. permitting mining companies to dump toxic waste for free on Federal land? Or US cotton subsidies - I sure don't see the GOP welfare queens from the south objecting to this. Nor did Sister Sarah object to the Federal govt. building access roads in the wilderness for timber companies. It just goes on and on.

The Tea party doesn't want an educated population, because only stupid, uneducated people will put them in office.
Stupid is paying for things that aren't necessary with money we don't have. A college education doesn't guarantee anyone becomes a productive member of society. But that diploma isn't worth squat, when THERE ARE NO JOBS. Even the millennials are seeing the writing on the wall.

You last line is soooo laughable. If you truly look around, instead of swallowing the Media Matters mantra, you will see it's the progressives that create policies to keep the poor that way.

You are aware that the Amendment requirement of CCB has absolutely zero chance of every being passed right? If you guys seriously think that bill was ever intended to be serious, you're absolutely clueless.

Credit rating goes down, the interest we are charged on our current debt goes up. Every point costs us trillions of dollars. Wake up!

I don't know if the invocation of the 14th will withstand Judicial review. I know you guys in the lunatic fringe are not scared of default, or you believe there will actually be no default because of the blabbering by so called experts, but the real experts have weighed in and they believe the fringe Republicans - Tea Party- has grabbed the wheel and are trying to drive us over the cliff like Thelma and Louise. Lunatics have no concept of reality, which is of course why they are called lunatics.

How do you pass a bill through Congress when one of the main aspects of it cannot pass in the States?

And when you call everyone who isn't the right wing fringe "*******s" you've already lost the argument.
