...those really worked out didn't they? You know, the "job creating" tax cuts for the rich. The ones that were followed by months of the unemployment rate ticking upwards after? Those hundreds of thousands of dollars revenue we sacrificed were sure worth it, huh?

The right wing goons don't give a damn about job creation and that's been proven beyond any doubt. Where's those jobs teabaggers?

Ha ha - the $70B in tax cuts for "the rich" didn't work. But the $400B in tax cuts for the non-rich, the AMT relief, and the payroll tax cut? Wow - those are really kickin' butt!

Anyone can play this game. How is the stimulus working? Pelosi predicted millions of jobs as soon as the healthcare bill was passed; where are they? I could go on about the "laser focus" etc. Spending hasn't worked and simply keeping the current rates the same as they were during a previous time of low unemployment, while pushing to change them, hasn't worked either. What could be the problem? Hmmmm.

Why don't you like the idea of people having less of their money stolen by the government?

Using the term "sacrificed" supposes the government is entitled to it in the first place.
Did you donate extra to the IRS this year?

Those so called "cuts" are over a decade old. That was not any NEW money that people had.

Don't be a deadbeat. Create your OWN da#m job. Quit looking to "the rich" to offer you a job if you don't have a skill they covet.

Those Obama cuts were an extension of tax cuts the middle class as well as the rich have enjoyed for over a decade.

How many "rich" are in the 10% bracket ?
Those child credits zero out as your income increases.

Also those cuts were for individuals, not companies that hire.
Are ALL individuals now business owners ?
How many people did you hire with your extra money ?

Which cuts that cost hundreds of thouands of lost revenues are you talking about. The so called Bush cuts.

First it was billions, Second it was just an extension of rates that have been in effect for around 10 years, third the major beneficiaries of those cuts are not the rich, fourth do you know that unemployment wouldn't be worse if they had not been extended, etc

People are all for less money to the govt, until it hits them in the pocket. Most red states are welfare states, depending on the Federal govt. Just try to get Cantor to stop Federal funding of Va. pet projects like restoring sand to Va. Beach or wanting engines built for the military in his district that the DOD doesn't want or need. Why should Utah taxpayers pay for FEMA support and the Army Corps of Engineers to restore casinos that were built on the MS coast when they knew the danger when they were built? Or a taxpayer in Alaska to pay for farm subsidies for agri-business? When those who want to cut Federal spending cut this waste, we will know they are really serious.
