I mean hell we have people on this very forum who brag about their 0% or 5% tax rate like we're supposed to be impressed.
One would be me.

You need to read the basics of our tax system.

That is exactly what the IRS wants.

They want to keep the money moving in the system.

So yes, I pay "0" because I put the money back into the system.

This makes jobs.

yup, and the next 49.9% pay too much, while the top 0.1% don't pay enough.

It's easy to tell others to pay more when you are the recipient of their tax dollars.
I pay a higher tax rate than the average of the top 400 taxpayers, who control an obscene amount of wealth. I also pay more than most corporations do.

I assume you wouldn't be so hypocritical as to be in that bottom 50%, so you probably pay more than the people I just mentioned, as well.

Always with the half truths. You have swallowed the MSM line hook, line and sinker.

How about doing some research and come with how much corps. pay in CORPORATE taxes?

Yea, but look who is getting the unfunded money - the welfare states like Va., SC and the other Tea bagger states.

How much is enough? What happens when they take their wealth to a different country and they don't pay any federal taxes after that?

That is a problem because people (businesses)stopped spending.

I did as much as possible.

I bought a new well rig just before Obama took office and will still have $190,000 left in depreciation in 2012.

He made it plain he was against small businesses so many of us got ready.

I can wait him out another six years but, I hope I do not have to.

As much as the aforementioned 49.9% currently pay, would be enough.

Then they don't get the benefit of being a U.S. citizen anymore.

Exactly, and businesses didn't stop spending because of taxes, businesses stopped spending because demand dried up.

Whether you pay taxes or not has nothing to do with aggregate demand, all it means is that you don't help fund the country like the rest of us.
