PHILADELPHIA - Fox 29 has obtained video of an attack on a bystander in Philadelphia's Old City by teens from a charter school group that received a $1 million donation from Oprah Winfrey.
The incident happened on the afternoon of July 29th near 4th and Spruce Streets, and just blocks from the location of the Mastery Charter High School.
That was the same day that saw violent attacks near Chestnut Street in Center City that injured two other bystanders.
The incident on the tape obtained by Fox 29 was acknowledged in a letter from Mastery to neighbors in Old City. In the letter, Mastery said the students would face expulsion or suspension.
Mastery also said in the letter it would meet with neighbors concerned about student behavior.

National media pays far less attention to such things, especially the obvious racial angle. Even local media chokes at mentioning races involved.
Untrue. The two mobs that happened here the media didn't shy away from. And I just need to ask: why is knowing the race SO critical for some people? Is it so you can jump up & proclaim "SEE!!!!! I TOLD you it will always be the blacks. I told you!" Who cares what race they are, it's a mob!
What in the world are you talking about? Have you ever used google? It's all over the news.
If the same rash of incidents involved white people punching out black people randomly, this would be a leading story on every major news network. So far it only seems to be discussed on local news shows in cities where this happening. There is an obvious double standard when it comes to racially biased attacks.
Its more to do with hip-hop culture than race. I can guarantee there are African-Americans who think this is as stupid as everyone else does.
Yes, its culture, not genetics. The vast majority of whites and black in this country are decent people who applaud fairness and decency!
