The GOP has that down to a T. Whats going to kill Perry's candidacy is his close association with the Tea Party. The vast majority of Americans have a negative view of the Tea Party and after Tea Party congressman caused our credit rating to go down, Americans aren't going to want a Tea Party chief.
Why? Because Harry Reid or Dick Durbin said so, it must be true and taken as Gospel?

Perry was a Democrat until Rove talked him into becoming a Republican to beat Hightower in Texas. Perry voted for and worked for Gore back in the late 80s. Perry is all for amnesty for illegals. Perry is not what this country needs for a President.
Do we REALLY need another candidate from Texas? We didn't have enough with Dub-Ya? If he is up against Obama, there might not even be worth showing up to the polls. When is this country going to wake up and make a real change? Wait...we just tried that. There's no hope.
