Bachmann says Obama is leading from behind on Syria

We should have acted weeks ago on Syria, we should be continuing to pressure Iran, we should have sent in troops in Libya to take out Gaddafi according to many prominent Republicans. It's ridiculous!

The party of small/limited government my butt! Ron Paul is the only person who is not a hypocrite, but then again he no longer is a Republican. The Republican Party has turned into something else over the past decades. It's for small spending in the USA and massive spending overseas.

Obama 2012!

I guess you don't watch the GOP debates nor read the article. Every GOP candidate would use military force against Iran besides Ron Paul. Every GOP candidate said America should LEAD in Libya besides Ron Paul. Now they are speaking up about Syria that we should be leading in Syria. Keep covering your eyes .

OP, the Democrats don't play lip service to policing the world, but they sure as hell don't have any problem with it do they? Why the double standard?

Democrats believe working under NATO when it comes to non-direct threats. This is something Republicans condemn because they feel this is "America" and America only leads.

LOL, we're at war with more countries than we were in 2008 and *I* need to uncover my eyes? LOL

1. Most of our combat troops are out of Iraq and all of them will be out by the end of the year.

2. We have a tentative timeline for all combat troops to be withdrawn from Afghanistan by 2013 (Republicans criticized this by saying it's moving too FAST)

3. We don't have a single foot soldier in Libya and you can't call it war when all we're doing is providing air/naval support under the leadership of NATO. If a Republican was the president, we'd have ground troops marching to Gaddafi.

So Democrats believe in the unconstitutional participation of war just because the UN and NATO said so? What hypocrisy. That's just to cover your ass and make excuses for Obama's war mongering. You need a congressional declaration of war to participate in war, alliance or not . So I'll ask you again, why is it ok for Obama to police the world but Bush is an evil warmongering idiot when he does?

Look at the differences between Iraq and Libya. Look at the cost between the two. Look at American loss between the two. Look at the mission between the two. Did Iraqi people ask for help? NO! Did Libyans? YES!

Yep... Iraq is no different than Libya mmhmm

It's funny how people forget. The war in Iraq started because Bush kept pumping up crap that they are creating weapons of mass destruction etc. Then when we found out there weren't any, it changed to liberating the people of Iraq. You probably were one of those people who didn't even notice the change in mission.
