Wausau mayor to unions: Pay up if you ban Republicans from Labor Day parade « Hot Air

Quote:
A parade organizer with the Marathon County Labor Council made it clear some Republican lawmakers aren’t invited. The reason: not supporting workers’ collective bargaining rights back in February.
However, the mayor feels differently.
Quote:
But Mayor Jim Tipple says because the city of Wausau pays for a portion of the parade’s costs including liability insurance, the event is required to be non-partisan.
...
The banning of a political party from participation at any event co-sponsored by the City is against public policy and not in the best interest of all the citizens of the City of Wausau. And therefore, we encourage the event organizer to invite all interested parties, or reimburse the city for other costs.
I've lost count recently. What's the score in Wisconsin these days?
American Taxpayers 4, Unions 0? It's something like that.

You are a perfect example of why Republicans should be banned.
Ever since the GOP declared war on the middle class the lines are drawn.
We know who declared war on us

When you figure out how a few thousand elite, specially privileged public union workers represents the entire middle class - i.e., the ones paying massive taxes to support the elite public union employees' benefits - you let us know.

Cuz right now, I and most other rational humans cannot make that connection.

You aren't confusing public sector unions with middle class, are you?
