That's interesting. Both parties are afraid of the TP, because the TP is just the American public fed up with both parties. Both the GOP and the Democrats are sucessfully denigrating the Tea Party through their tools in the media.

Did you read the article or just wanted to comment?
Fascinating. The Tea Party claims to represent real conservatives, real Republicans and "real Americans", yet they are disliked by all three groups. Interesting.

I know but yet they keep believing they speak for everyone.

Here. Read this. It's from the article that you didn't read.
Quote:
“Tea Party” has suffered much worse. Considered a positive political label by 29 percent, 43 percent now think Tea Party is a negative description for a candidate. That’s a net rating of negative 14, making it the worst thing you can call a candidate. Twenty-three percent put it somewhere in between.
That doesn't sound like the TP has the support of most Americans. Of course you'll just say that it's liberal media drivel and that the Tea Party will sweep next year's elections, but when many of my conservative friends think the Tea Party's crazy, that tells me something--and I have some VERY conservative friends.
But keep living in your dream world, for all I care. meh.

They may be denigrating the Tea Party in their own minds and it may give them great joy to see the lame media give credence to their babblings. But really, any person inclined to be supportive of the Tea Party isn't going to be swayed by their rantings.
Like the poor player who struts and frets his hour upon the stage...

According to who, you? I don't think the Tea Party represents the Republicans... hell the *******s have been trying to make that connection for years now not us.
