Boy, these numbers are really bad and would be even WORSE if obama's pollsters took their finger off the scale.

Obama ratings sink to new lows as hope fades - The Washington Post

Quote:
Public pessimism about the direction of the country has jumped to its highest level in nearly three years, erasing the sense of hope that followed President Obama’s inauguration and pushing his approval ratings to a record low, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

More than 60 percent of those surveyed say they disapprove of the way the president is handling the economy and, what has become issue No. 1, the stagnant jobs situation. Just 43 percent now approve of the job he is doing overall, a new career low; 53 percent disapprove, a new high.
I just love the headline - HOPE fades.

Don't tell me these fools believed all that tripe from candidate obama? Why, of course they did...this is the obama-media after all.

Obama hits all-time low, NBC News/WSJ poll finds - politics - msnbc.com

Quote:
When Barack Obama unveils his jobs and economic plan to a joint session of Congress on Thursday, he'll do so at the lowest point of his presidency, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

After the bruising debt-ceiling fight — as well as Standard & Poor's subsequent downgrade of the nation's credit rating — Obama's job approval rating has sunk to a low of 44 percent, a 3-point drop since July.
Only a 3 point drop? Take the finger off the scale, guys.

Both pollsters give the dems a 9 point party ID advantage (totally out of whack) and the NBC poll doubles the number of union members.

Oh, these are adults being polled here....you can lop off 3-5 points from obama's numbers for that.

Can you imagine what his number would be without the leg up from the pollsters?

Wallowing in the low 40's is right where we want him. We don't want the bottom to drop out while there's still time for hillary to stick a fork in him.

Equally bad numbers on the handling of economy/deficit question (arguably the only one that really matters), with 30% strong disapproval now. Also another bad poll on direction of country.

Fortunately his Thu teleprompter-reading won't be until after market-close - as shaky as things look this week, it would be another 10 point drop per minute of talk...

But it is the people to his left who are not supporting him. They wouldn't vote for the GNP (Grover Norquist Party) on a bet. They have no choice but to hold their noses and vote for him in the general election

Exactly...watch those number shoot up to about 54-56% when the GOP rolls out their puppet.

I feel bad for him I truly do. I want him to do well since if he does well the country does well.

Like the cocky rooster that he is...Can someone post a Youtube of his chicken flap with the gasps after he LIED and Joe Wilson called him on his lie.

The alternative is to stay home, just like they did in 2010.

Polls mean nothing at this point, remember Bush 41 lost the election with a 69% approval rating....

I honestly think the GOP could run a Labrador Retriever right now and he could beat Obama. Any candidate that the Repubs have is so much better than the Idiot-In-Chief. So many bad decisions in such a short time by the First Celebrity.

Everybody in Washington is unpopular. Some parties are even less popular than others, which is something the OP conveniently does not mention.
