I will go with post #52. The part about using used Christmas Tree ornaments is the hardest one to believe.
in the Blue Room – is decorated with recycled ornaments that Mrs. Obama's team dug out of the warehouse where old White House decorations are stored.
"We took about 800 ornaments left over from previous administrations, we sent them to 60 local community groups throughout the country, and asked them to decorate them to pay tribute to a favorite local landmark and then send them back to us for display here at the White House," said Mrs. Obama.
What good did it do to redecorate used ornaments, then say they used the same ones.
I think Obama has been fairly good. Not great, but better than ok. There is no question that he has accomplished some great things:
1. Bin Laden is dead
2. Dealing with the financial crisis (this shouldn't be understated)
3. Passed healthcare reform
4. Passed financial regulatory reform
5. Bailed out the automakers (only an ideological nitwit could see that as anything but extremely successful)
6. Got Iran to sign a nuclear agreement.
7. This is huge: although he has made some big mistakes in foreign policy, he has been reluctant to engage in war. He is measured and won't put out troops in harms way without damn good reason. Again, this is massive.
Although there are a lot more, these are the big things that really stand out.
