Take yer money out of the banks. All we need is one bank holiday and/or one power outage (extended) where the ATM's don't work, and most people would be toast.

All money now, seems to be based on electronics, it is not "real". I think that this is going to happen, definitely in my lifetime, that there will be a complete collapse of this "invisible" money...and things will have to be re-worked, and re-started over, how to re-think the concept of money...don't think that gold, or paper money saved will help you when it all melts down...it will all be worthless...

If gold/silver ever become worthless it will be the very first time in civilized human history that it has become such. That said, the transition from our fiat paper currency to digital currency has been going on for decades. The digital currency loses its value at the same rate as do the paper federal reserve notes as our debt is monetized.

A collapse of the USPS and thus the end of paper statements/checks altogether would hasten the new age of digital money. Smart phones with paypal debit/charging capabilities are replacing debit cards. One can deposit checks by scanning them through smart phones. The federal reserve note will just about be ready to go the way of the horse and buggy by the time the Renminbi replaces the US Dollar as the world's reserve currency in a couple of years.

The collapse of the Euro and of the US dollar are being carefully orchestrated so as not to alarm the sheeple. The last thing the large world banks want is a "run". Ever ask yourself why banks have to report a withrawl of more than $3,000.00 at any one time to the FBI? Thieves don't like competition!
