Every human on earth can trace their ancestry back to some point in time when their ancestors were abused and killed unjustly.
Cut off all federal money going to them except that money granted by treaties.
Then see how loud they yell about what the government is trying to do.
This sounds good......amazing how when the government speaks about handing out, people just don't realize all it's doing is keeping you from being a productive person in the world. Heck, if you have just enough money to gamble and buy whiskey, who needs to work.
Idaho has it's share of Indian Casinos, would like to know.............. where that money goes.
they fall under our laws since we won the indians wars. No different than any defeated peoples in history. its time that they started beig treat as eqaulksonly.like allowed gaming in states that prohibit it.
The white man took their land .Put them on reservations ,the indians have every right to govern themselves.
Should they ask the taxpayer to still keep footing the bill?? We already can't go on their land and make arrest. I was surprised to find out many reservations are just full of meth, the youth are addicted.......... Seems to me they already do as they please.

Even if I should, I won't.
It's water under the bridge; I'm not carrying a chip on my shoulder about it.
As was mentioned upthread, we all have injustices in our backgrounds.
We move on; simple.

Then let them drug and drink themselves into a Darwinian situation.
That's what works for the rest of us; why not them?
