if were gonna make sure everyone is healthy regardless, we should be handing out gym memberships to homeless people. maybe some gift cards for bennigans too.
If someone chooses to go without insurance, they either qualify for Medicaid or they should come up with the $100 or so that it will cost them to go see their doctor. If they are injured, most likely it was in their car or in their workplace so they should be covered by auto insurance or workman's comp.
Most injuries are quite minor and those walk-in clinics are quite affordable.
You have no idea how destitute you have to be to qualify for Medicaid, especially if you have no kids. I'll look it up when I get home today.
I also have a saying bookmarked at home that says "For every complex problem there is a simple and elegant solution that is absolutely wrong". That is what I thinkof this post.
How do you know most injuries are caused by auto accidents or at work? What if you're working on your house and fall off a ladder? (just one example)
This question should have asked average working families. Tea baggers expect people to work for ridiculous wages and then pay for healthcare with those wages. These are the same people who say things like America is free and racism is over. No duh!!

First of all, do you work at all? If so, what are your marketable skills that entitle you to more than what your present employer is willing to pay beyond the minimum wage, or whatever you make?
On the other hand, if you are of a professional capacity, what are your credentials to determine what an employer should pay an employee? If so, then, please outline the scale.
Bottom line, do you work? Do you, or have you ever then or now, owned a business and actually given people work and a chance to rise?
