This is a great idea! I know a lot of moderates who think $250,000 is too low of an income to increase taxes. However, I think any reasonable person would agree to increasing taxes on people who make $1 million or more per year. I doubt Republicans will be okay with this, but I'm sure the majority of independents will support this idea.
Do you support it and why?

This should be on major media websites soon. It's a breaking alert sent from CNBC to my phone.
I DO NOT support this at all
if folks like Buffet want to pay more in taxes, no one is stopping him!
Hell, all he has to do is write a frigging check!!
I make just enough to make ends meet and I have 2 micro businesses
since Obama has been in office, my work have fallen off, my health insurance has gone through the roof! I pay for it!
My house is under water, and this hack in the white house has his head so far up his ass he can not see daylight!
I want him dragged out of the white house when the next election comes and have to pack his own stupid u-haul!!
I am so sick of him and his cronies I could puke!
He does not have a clue, good grief he loaned his GREEN JOBS out and cost us another 500 MILLION when his folks were saying don't do it!!
The arrogance of this stupid SOB is amazing to me
hell, I could do better that this hack!!
The Govt increases MC incomes by lowering their taxes. What would cause Employers to hire more and pay more, is competition for people and rising demand for their products. What we see now, is low demand and a glut of people looking for jobs. The reason for it is, decades of shifting wealth to a few people. That has been happening all over the Industrialized World.
You have over 50% of Americans NOT paying Federal Income tax.
When over half the country is poor enough to get back all they've paid to the Fed in income tax you are not going to get increased demand with lowered taxes.

Actually I think Buffet is being investigated for not paying his taxes. He may HAVE to pay more though he so far hasn't wanted to do more than talk about it.

It's not that simple FB.
You are right that is a big problem and it is evidence of why it is so important to redistribute. A lot of those people are not earning enough to have a tax bill, that's the point. It would not be difficult to do it, if certain people were willing the take the steps.
Most of the "wealthy" that this pertains to, are wealthy because they are small business owners or are corporations. As such when you increase the tax on these individuals, they meerly increase the cost of their goods and services to cover the taxes and additionally increase the cost to cover the increase caused from the increase.... The result is those who purchase those goods and services are actually the ones paying the increased tax. Who is that increase on?? YOU!!!
Here's a completely insane thought. Instead of making millionaires and billionaires pay more, how about we just slash tax rates for everyone else? Not only would that right the wrong of the rich paying less percentage-wise, but the vast wave of millions of Americans keeping more of their money would prompt them to spend more. Our economy could eventually recover; it won't bounce back on this alone, but it would at least stop swirling around the toilet, and that's half the battle.
