Does it all make sense now?
From your link...

President Obama placed the Middle East at the forefront of his first hours in office yesterday as he sought to make good on his promise of “ushering in a new era of peace”.

In a flurry of telephone calls from the Oval Office, he reached out to leaders in the region and vowed to engage immediately in pursuit of a permanent Arab-Israeli settlement.
What is strange or suspect about that? What sense are you gleaning from this?

Isn't the bottom of that barrel your scraping scraped clean by now?

I'm pretty sure I know where BentBow got that idea today but in case you miss this link on the post that beat me by a whole lot of time try this one. Whoops, I brought the same one thinking that you would be able to accept that source.

I kind of doubt that is what he did but you did beat them to it.

Really?

Whatever you do do not google this subject because they have a number of sources that are not all blogs. You are going to embarrass yourself on this one if you keep it up.

I take it for granted that you lefties just can't accept the fact that the Obama call to Abbas and others in the area may have been done to get things rolling before Israel could get anything going,

You do know that in order to begin getting Jewish votes back he has been talking about how much he supports the Israelis. You really can't manage to understand what that is all about, do you? Of course, we both know why you are being like this.

If this isn't a halfway attempt at deflection I wonder what it is. I didn't manage to see anything about Berlusconi in the first two pages and don't think he is involved with the Muslims of that part of Asia.

Nobody but people like you thinks like that. It does seem that the first call could have gone to the UK or France or even Germany. Those are some of the countries that were our best allies even in 2009.

Nice try to change the subject or deflect or whatever you are doing.

For those Obama kool-aid drinkers, ponder this-

It is easy to defend success. It is hard to rationalize failure.

The nation has had enough of the great orator and will not get fooled again. I wonder who Obama will work for when he is out of office in 2013? That will certainly be interesting. I am sure that it will be none of our buisness.
Surely Rahm Emanuel can supply him with a job. Maybe even MM or Think Progress or MSNBC.

No, the point I'm making is that the president called some people, and he called a lot of other people and who he called first, second, or 85th doesn't really strike me as something that involves heavy thought or debate.

Watch this. Takes about 10 minutes. This thread is like a drumhead trial. About a few telephone calls.

Lessons in Humanity: Habeas Corpus - YouTube
According to Politifact the first four calls he made were to heads of state in the Middle East. Now four isn't as many as 85 but surely he got in the UK, Germany and Francd first 85.
