having said that, the republican party is getting better. once this generation of republicans is dead, i think you'll see more non white republicans.

when you see an allen west or a tim scott, those are shining examples that young politically motivated blacks can get behind and support. old rich chewing tobacco whitey, not so much.

Perhaps, but even if that were true, it's not difficult to see how Mexicans (aka "illegals") might be becoming the new "blacks" for the "rural" wing (both young & old) of the GOP.

I think the more people experience the new democrats' (progressive leftists) policies THAT will drive them towards conservatism more than anything.

So you're racist if you didn't vote for Obama and now also a racist if you are disappointed with him and won't vote to re elect him.
Morgan Freeman deserves a razzy for worst performance from an actor making a political commentary.

You'd be wrong, I have stopped watching Mel Gibson. Bush hate was unprecedented and must have been because of his race and nothing to do with his actions and policies.

One thing the Obama candidacy and presidency has done is expose the extent of black racism in this country. I always knew blacks could be racist just like anyone else, but honestly never had any idea just how pervasive and how deep and how irrational whitey hatred goes.

Too bad about Morgan Freeman. I always liked and admired him. He will join Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, and Mel Gibson on my list of actors I will never pay to watch.

Nice. Can't defeat my arguments, so you resort to calling me a liar instead.

It doesn't matter that the Tea Party may possibly have technically existed prior Obama being elected, because hardly anyone even heard about them until they went out on the streets screaming that Obama can't be president because he's black which means he was obviously born in Africa and therefore not a real American. Ask me or nearly anyone else in late 2007 or even mid 2008 what the Tea Party was and we'd likely respond with "A party thrown by people to celebrate their love for tea?". And further, do you honestly think the Tea Party would've still been out there protesting had McCain somehow won? Or had John Edwards had been able to keep his pants on for more than three minutes and somehow managed to win the party's nomination and later the presidency?

Please.

No, they wouldn't. Or even if they had, the movement wouldn't nearly be as big or influential as they tragically have become. Racism is the driving force behind the movement.

Good - we've both lived in the Southwest (NM here) and
we both know what type of folks live in AZ

And, I'm saying much of the Palin/Beck TPartiers are from the North

Okay dude I'm a dudette
He's just hiding behind "property rights" to mask his racism.
