I guess it is not Obama's war anymore now that it has been ended successfully

I missed the part of the article where it says anyone is claiming credit in this visit. Can you point that out for me? Thanks

BTW: It does say that other world leaders have visited Libya. Where's Obama? Too busy campaigning?

The article does not state the republican claimed credit for Libya
it did say

McCain, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, and panel member Graham had pressed President Barack Obama for U.S. military intervention in Libya, weeks before the U.N. Security Council voted in March to authorize military action to protect civilians and impose a no-fly zone. McCain had invoked the humanitarian disasters in Rwanda and Bosnia in the 1990s.
When other lawmakers criticized Obama for acting with limited congressional consultation, McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, defended the president.
In April, McCain traveled to Benghazi, where he called the rebels "patriots" and "heroes."
Your thread title is both misleading and false

What do you think they are doing there? First GOP (minus McCain) does everything to critisize and undermine the effort in Libya, and now that the war has been won, they are the first to parade on the streets.
