Hmm, do you think, 27 years ago, that the Black Panthers have ever done anything as racially charged as painting the word "cracker" or "whitey" on a rock out in the middle of some woods?

Obama regarding his grandmother: "she was a typical white woman".

Obama attended a church for 20 years that put forward the racist philosphy of black liberation in place of Christianity.

I'd suggest that Obama cannot control the groups who support him anymore than can Ron Paul. That said, when then Senator Obama appeared with a group characterized as domestic terrorists, he indeed made a choice to once again surround himself with radicals just as he did in his past as documented in his books and by his associations with other domestic terrorists (Bill Ayers/Bernadine Dohrn).

What march was that? Did he actually march or did he appear in a public event that had Black Panthers present? I think there are many more things to fault President Obama for. Drudging up news stories like this only takes attention away from more legitimate criticisms.

"Kill every goddamn Zionist in Israel! Goddamn little babies, goddamn old ladies! Blow up Zionist supermarkets!"
—Malik Zulu Shabazz

I hate white people. All of them. Every last iota of a cracker, I hate it. We didn't come out here to play today. There's too much serious business going on in the black community to be out here sliding through South Street with white, dirty, cracker ***** ******* on our arms, and we call ourselves black men. … What the hell is wrong with you black man? You at a doomsday with a white girl on your damn arm. We keep begging white people for freedom! No wonder we not free! Your enemy cannot make you free, fool! You want freedom? You going to have to kill some crackers! You going to have to kill some of their babies!
King Samir Shabazz, head of the Philadelphia chapter of the New Black Panthers

The NBP party is the black equivelent of the KKK. If a POTUS stood with the KKK (hate group/domestic terrorists) at a rally and addressed them, even before he became POTUS, should it not be a case for concern to US citizens? If so then why shouldn't Obama's past appearance at a NBP event be of concern? Double standard perhaps?

I agree with this, espcially the bolded area.

Also the OP is acting like the president attended the event to only support the New BPP. From the actual article:

Quote:
It is true that then-Senator Hillary Clinton and Al Sharpton were also in Selma at the same event
.

So I guess Hilary Clinton was there to meet with the NBPP as well.

·

“The Zionist has no right to open his mouth anywhere on the planet.” Jews are “Zionist liars” who are “robbing the gold mines in Africa” and have “the blood of Palestinians on your hands.” (Interfaith Vigil protesting killing in the Sudan, Washington DC, July 7 2004
