Seems unfortunate for those who might have benefited from that bill by actually getting a job as a result of the bill.

Ha! Since when did Republicans actually care about people having jobs? It's the "JOB CREATORS" that matter! Screw everyone else.

You can blame the Senate Democrats just as much as the House Republicans. I guess the Senate Democrats don't actually care about people having jobs either! go figure.

I guess the left does not care that the Senate also disagress with the bill and ALSO said it would go no where....but hey...typical leftist thinking...

I guess that must be the reason harry brought up the chinese money bill, or what ever it's called...

The Chinese money bill will likely go nowhere either but it carries LESS POLITICAL DAMAGE than the Jobs Bill. The Senate Democrats know that if they bring the jobs bill up for a vote that vote could come back to haunt them in the next election.

The Republicans do not like the bill but the Democrats are afraid of it. Which is worse??

Meh. Reid is far and away the weakest link in the democratic chain, as far as I care - along with many senate dems. I wouldn't be surprised if they were also against the jobs bill, since they've been against quite a few popular bills, and managed to bungle issues like the debt ceiling and the yearly budget.

Surely its the election cycle which is worse! Typical politicians.. definately more concerned about their fate than the fate of the country.
