ProudCapMarine-Semper Fi, I really like your posts. (My dad is a marine, too.)

burdell-- Yes, I'm savvy enough to decipher through Teddy's slurring that he still operates regularly under the heavy influence of alcohol. To anyone with eyes and ears this is obvious. I will concede that maybe Bush is not the most articulate President ever, but I think it's clear he is not a drunk like Kennedy. Oh, and what Teddy was charged with, not legally, but by the public, was at the very least a sense of impropriety. He went out and became wasted with his son and nephew who was later indicted for rape. This is a man who is a US Senator! Get it? He was present in the residence where the alleged rape took place, and he had been at a bar getting drunk with the alleged perpetrator. Not very becoming, and not the image decent Americans want for the US government. He didn't marry his second wife out of love either, it was to try and straighten out his public image from the rape scandal.

Default Enough

Enough to not vote for any Republican senator caught whispering in his ear.

Let's see.. A flabby alcoholic..
Tried to cover up rape by his nephew...
Abandoned his poor drunken wife, the mother of his children...
Is only a Senator because there weren't any other Kennedys left..
See above.. the hippocrate thing.. he wants YOU to save energy but not in his backyard..

I got a kick out of Ted believes in natural energy, but not within eye-shot of his home.

However, he loves it near your home.

Years ago, Ted believed in busing school children to force racial mixtures in our schools. But he sent his kids to private schools were they would not be bused.
